Specialist – Concurrent Audit – Internal Audit Services (Advisory)

About the role

PwC’s Advisory practice is seeking a Specialist to support concurrent audit engagements for banking clients in Mumbai. The role will focus on reviewing processes and controls across trade finance, treasury, credit, KYC and remittances, ensuring compliance with RBI regulations and internal policies.

Key responsibilities

• Execute detailed reviews of bank processes and controls as part of audit engagements.
• Assess adherence to RBI regulatory guidelines and PwC internal policies.
• Identify control gaps, process inefficiencies and non‑compliance issues.
• Draft clear issue reports with risk articulation and actionable recommendations.
• Maintain comprehensive workpapers documenting test procedures to meet quality standards.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of banking operations and the Indian regulatory environment, particularly RBI guidelines.
• Experience in internal audit or risk management within the financial services sector.
• Proficiency in preparing high‑quality audit documentation.
