About the role

The Solidworks Mechanical Trainer will deliver structured, hands‑on training in Solidworks and core mechanical design concepts to engineering students and early‑career professionals. The role involves preparing lesson plans, creating practical exercises, and guiding learners through real‑world design projects.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare lesson plans and develop training materials, including project‑based exercises.
• Conduct classroom and laboratory sessions, demonstrating Solidworks features, 3D modeling, drafting, and simulation workflows.
• Provide individualized guidance and feedback on design projects, ensuring adherence to industry standards.
• Assess learner performance and update course content to reflect emerging industry trends.
• Coordinate with the training team and maintain training labs and equipment.

Required profile

• Strong proficiency in Solidworks and mechanical design, including 3D modeling, assemblies, drafting, and simulation.
• Practical experience in mechanical engineering, product design, or manufacturing.
• Ability to develop structured curricula, lesson plans, and project‑based learning materials for diverse skill levels.
• Clear communication and presentation skills, with prior experience as a trainer, instructor, or mentor considered highly beneficial.
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; advanced Solidworks certifications are an advantage.
