Solar PMC Team Leader

About the role

AECOM is seeking an experienced Solar PMC Team Leader to oversee day‑to‑day project management consultant activities for utility‑scale solar EPC package execution, ensuring progress, risk, quality, safety and commissioning readiness.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate day‑to‑day PMC activities across solar construction clusters and work fronts.
• Monitor EPC contractor performance against schedule, quality, safety and contractual obligations.
• Review EPC workfront readiness, construction sequencing and productivity performance.
• Identify and manage critical package risks, constraints and interface challenges.
• Coordinate interactions between EPC contractors, OEMs, client representatives and commissioning teams.
• Support commissioning planning, testing, performance verification and HOTO preparation.
• Prepare status reports, escalation notes and readiness assessments for programme leadership and client review.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in utility‑scale solar, renewable energy or large EPC projects.
• Proven experience managing multidisciplinary site teams through construction, commissioning and handover.
• Experience working directly with EPC contractors, OEMs and client organisations.
