Software Test Engineer II – Automation Focus

About the role

Mastercam seeks a Software Test Engineer II to proactively design, develop, and implement methods for testing and troubleshooting Mastercam software and its components throughout the development life cycle, with a focus on automation.

Key responsibilities

• Write clear testing and engineering documents, including test protocols, procedures, and reports.
• Collaborate with Quality Control colleagues to design testing methods, processes, and tools.
• Refactor and extend test automation frameworks and suites across multiple areas.
• Build and maintain automation code, including unit tests, ATF, UI testing, and regression tests.
• Analyze automated test results, logs, and reports and communicate improvement opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• ISTQB Test Automation Engineer or equivalent certification.
• 4-5 years of experience building commercial software or test frameworks using C# or C++.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum testing, source control, peer reviews, and unit testing.
