Software Technologist I/II – DevOps/Configuration Manager

About the role

Philips is looking for a Configuration Manager who can oversee system software configuration throughout its lifecycle and help shape the Software Development Infrastructure. You will act as a key driver of change, ensuring reproducibility of released software for many years.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain end‑to‑end configuration management to guarantee software reproducibility up to 15 years after release.
• Control configuration changes across the project lifecycle and participate as the CM expert in development and maintenance activities.
• Plan, track and report on all configuration‑management activities in collaboration with project managers.
• Manage version‑control archives, software releases and baseline integrity.
• Define, implement and continuously improve the Configuration Management process, tools and methodologies.
• Provide accurate configuration status to developers, end users and customers, and conduct configuration audits.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Informatics or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in software configuration management or product development.
• Hands‑on experience with agile, SAFe, Scrum or V‑model development methodologies.
• Proven ability to drive change, work independently and communicate effectively across global teams.
