Software Technologist I – System Automation

About the role

As a Software Technologist I you will lead software development activities across the lifecycle, analysing requirements, influencing design and delivering scalable automation solutions. You will design, develop and maintain automation that supports software deployment, engineering workflows and system integration for Philips Patient Monitoring solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop deployment automation using C#.NET, PowerShell, Python and object‑oriented programming principles.
• Drive CI/CD pipelines, Azure DevOps, GitHub and release automation to improve deployment efficiency and software quality.
• Identify manual engineering processes and create reusable automation tools, engineering tooling and workflow optimisations.
• Design and implement Infrastructure as Code, environment provisioning, configuration management and deployment automation.
• Improve observability through logging, monitoring, analytics and performance dashboards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent.
• 5–8 years of experience in software development, system automation, deployment automation or DevOps.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, communication and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
• Experience working in Agile software development environments.
