Software Technologist - C# .NET Full Stack

This role sits within Hospital Patient Monitoring (HPM), providing advanced monitoring solutions for acute care settings, and is based in Bangalore, a key hub supporting innovation and collaboration across Philips.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis to deployment.
• Design and develop scalable, secure, and maintainable applications using C# and .NET technologies.
• Implement front‑end components and integrate them with backend services.
• Develop and execute unit, integration, and system tests to ensure quality and reliability.
• Conduct code reviews to maintain coding standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams for deployment and monitoring.
• Diagnose and resolve software defects, ensuring optimal performance.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams and API specifications.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and apply innovative solutions.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Information Technology.
• 6–10 years of experience as a Full Stack Developer with strong C# expertise.
• Comfortable working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Required skills

• Proficient in C# language fundamentals and OOP concepts (LINQ, async/await, exception handling).
• Hands‑on experience with ASP.NET Core.
• Strong understanding of RESTful API design and implementation.
• Front‑end proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks such as Angular, React, or Node.js.
• Experience with MS SQL Server or PostgreSQL and Entity Framework.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms AWS or Azure.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools like GitHub Actions.
• Skilled in Docker and containerized deployments.
• Understanding of microservices architecture and Kubernetes.
