Software Technical Sub Team Leader

About the role

Visteon is looking for a senior software leader to drive the development of Android Automotive OS features and customer‑facing infotainment functionalities. You will own the end‑to‑end delivery of software components, ensuring they meet quality, traceability and integration standards.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse requirements and translate them into functional Android Automotive modules.
• Develop and maintain multiple components of the Android Automotive system.
• Lead software integration and delivery across cross‑functional teams.
• Define and execute test strategies, document results and ensure traceability.
• Tri­age defects, coordinate resolutions with other domains, and manage dependencies.
• Mentor less‑experienced engineers and guide them to meet project timelines.

Required profile

• 9+ years of experience modifying Android framework components, system services and the Android SDK.
• Strong leadership, planning and organizational abilities in an agile, cross‑functional environment.
• Proven experience with software life‑cycle methodologies.
• Ability to mentor and support junior team members.
