Software Tech Support Engineer

About the role

Join our SW GPS team to support next‑generation software platforms. This role combines advanced Tier 3 support with platform, backend, and DevOps expertise to ensure reliable, scalable, and high‑performing systems across global customer environments.

Key responsibilities

• Act as Tier 3 expert for complex software/platform issues, driving end‑to‑end resolution.
• Troubleshoot backend system flows across software, infrastructure, and system layers.
• Analyze and reproduce issues, perform root‑cause analysis, and drive preventive solutions.
• Support and operate containerized applications in Linux/Kubernetes environments.
• Collaborate with R&D, hardware, and DevOps teams on debugging, feature readiness, and system improvements.
• Contribute to CI/CD processes, monitoring, and production reliability.
• Support new product introduction (NPI), including readiness validation and training.
• Develop tools, documentation, and best practices to improve support efficiency and reduce escalations.

Required profile

• 8‑14 years of experience in software support, backend systems, or DevOps.
• Strong troubleshooting skills in complex, multi‑disciplinary systems.
• Practical experience using agentic AI systems.
• Fluent English and excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Required skills

• Linux environments.
• Kubernetes and Docker containerization.
• CI/CD pipelines and monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
• Infrastructure‑as‑Code tools such as Helm and Terraform.
• Scripting languages: Python, PowerShell, Bash.
