Software Engineering Team Leader – Sell‑Side Market & Reference Data Integration

About the role

We are looking for a Software Engineering Team Leader to guide the Market & Reference Data Integration team within Bloomberg’s Sell‑Side Pre‑Trade and Execution group in Pune. The role combines technical leadership with hands‑on development, ensuring seamless integration of market and reference data into Bloomberg’s execution management systems.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a team of engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and high performance.
• Plan and track work against internal and external milestones, delivering scope on time.
• Support team members’ career growth by identifying development opportunities.
• Collaborate with Product, senior management, Client Services and Professional Services to align technical solutions with business goals.
• Drive the integration of Bloomberg’s Market and Reference Data technologies such as Enterprise Data License and BPIPE.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of people‑leadership experience, managing and coaching engineers.
• At least 7 years of software engineering experience with object‑oriented languages.
• Willingness to work with C++ on a daily basis.
• Proven track record of delivering key initiatives and influencing technical design.
