Software Engineering Intern – Summer 2027

About the role

Google is seeking motivated Computer Science students to join its engineering teams in India for a 10‑12 week Summer 2027 internship. Interns will work on real product initiatives, contributing code and solutions that impact millions of users worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Write production‑ready code for Google products and services.
• Design and implement scalable data structures and algorithms.
• Deploy and test modules on Google’s distributed infrastructure.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to develop new features, optimise storage systems, or improve machine‑learning pipelines.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master’s or Dual Degree in Computer Science or a closely related technical discipline.
• In the penultimate year of study, graduating late 2027 or mid‑2028.
• Strong academic standing with a solid foundation in computer science fundamentals.
