Software Engineer SAP Product Safety & Stewardship

About the role

We are looking for a Software Engineer specialized in SAP Product Safety and Stewardship to join our Environmental Compliance team in Hyderabad. You will work on SAP EHS solutions that support dangerous goods, safety data sheets, substance volume tracking and global label management, delivering high‑quality enhancements in an S/4HANA environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support, maintain and continuously improve SAP EHS modules, including Dangerous Goods Management, SDS, Substance Volume Tracking and Global Label Management.
• Participate in agile product team ceremonies, contribute to iteration planning and ensure delivery of business‑value features.
• Create functional and technical solution designs and drive implementation activities.
• Develop, enhance and support custom ABAP objects, ensuring robust and scalable solutions.
• Analyse incidents, perform root‑cause investigations and implement sustainable resolutions.

Required profile

• Strong functional and technical expertise in SAP Product Safety & Stewardship (EHS) modules.
• Proven experience with SAP customizing, table structures and data models.
• Hands‑on experience developing and supporting ABAP custom developments.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work with global stakeholders and cross‑functional teams.
