Software Engineer – Requirements Management (IBM DOORS)

About the role

We are looking for a Software Engineer specialized in requirements management for the software lifecycle. You will work within Bosch's technology powerhouse in India, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to capture, analyse, and maintain customer and system requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Gather and analyse customer requirements through meetings, workshops and document reviews.
• Document and maintain requirements in IBM DOORS, ensuring clarity, completeness and proper structuring.
• Maintain traceability links between requirements, design, test cases and verification results.
• Conduct requirement reviews and quality checks to identify gaps, ambiguities and duplicates.
• Support change requests by updating requirements, attributes, baselines and related documentation.
• Coordinate with senior engineers, developers, testers and other stakeholders to resolve requirement‑related issues.
• Prepare status and traceability reports and manage requirement baselines and version history.

Required profile

• BCA or B.Sc. degree.
• 4‑5 years of experience in requirements engineering.
• Hands‑on experience with IBM DOORS.
• Strong analytical and documentation skills.
