Software Engineer – Java & React Full‑Stack

About the role

DigiCert is seeking a Software Engineer with at least two years of experience to join its engineering team in Bangalore. You will work on Java backend services and React front‑end components, contributing to secure, cloud‑native products that protect digital interactions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Java backend services and RESTful APIs, following design guidelines.
• Build and enhance React UI components, ensuring proper state management, routing, and accessibility.
• Implement identity and access management flows using OAuth 2.0, OIDC, and SAML, integrating with Okta or similar providers.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and support Docker/Kubernetes deployments.
• Use observability tools such as New Relic, Splunk, or Datadog for monitoring and incident response.
• Write unit and integration tests, participate in code reviews, and maintain documentation.

Required profile

• 2+ years of Java development experience, familiar with Spring Boot and microservices concepts.
• Working knowledge of React, including hooks and component design.
• Basic understanding of OAuth 2.0, OIDC, and SAML protocols.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes basics.
• Proficiency with relational databases (PostgreSQL or MySQL) and SQL.
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and a growth mindset for security domain knowledge.
