Software Engineer

About the role

Star Software is seeking a motivated Software Engineer with at least two years of full‑stack development experience. You will work on scalable web applications, API integrations, ERP‑related workflows, and AI‑enabled features for clients in North America and Europe.

Key responsibilities

• Take end‑to‑end ownership of software features from discovery through design, development, testing, deployment and support.
• Gather and analyse requirements from international clients.
• Design, develop, test and maintain scalable web applications and REST APIs.
• Implement secure authentication and authorization using JWT and OAuth.
• Design and integrate database structures with MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Build responsive user interfaces using modern frontend frameworks.
• Participate in code reviews, debugging, testing and technical documentation.
• Leverage AI‑assisted development tools to improve productivity and work on prompt engineering.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of professional software development experience.
• Strong command of spoken and written English for client communication.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with product, design, business analysis and development teams.
