As a Software Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase within the Commercial & Investment Bank, you will work as a seasoned member of an agile team to design and deliver trusted market‑leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way.

Key responsibilities

• Execute software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with innovative approaches.
• Create secure, high‑quality production code and maintain algorithms that run synchronously with appropriate systems.
• Produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications while ensuring design constraints are met.
• Gather, analyze, and visualize large data sets to continuously improve software applications and systems.
• Identify hidden problems and patterns in data to drive improvements in coding hygiene and system architecture.
• Leverage enterprise‑authorized AI coding assist tools to improve code quality, delivery speed, and productivity.

Required profile

• Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts with 3+ years of applied experience.
• Hands‑on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
• Proficiency in coding with Java and/or Python in a large corporate environment.
• Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle and agile methodologies such as CI/CD, application resiliency, and security.
• Experience using AI‑assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) and ability to validate AI‑generated outputs.
• Knowledge of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, and secure handling within engineering workflows.
