Software Engineer III – Digital Integrations

About the role

Mastercam, part of Sandvik’s Intelligent Manufacturing division, is looking for a Software Engineer III to design, develop and support Salesforce and MuleSoft solutions. The role focuses on API‑led integrations that connect enterprise systems, streamline business processes and drive digital transformation, including the integration of an upcoming acquisition.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and test software to resolve defects and implement user stories.
• Develop deep expertise in Mastercam’s critical business processes and integration architecture.
• Write, size and break down stories and defects in collaboration with the team.
• Monitor system performance, conduct audits and apply updates to maintain optimal functionality.
• Coordinate with other engineers to determine the best implementation approach for requested changes.
• Conduct code and technical reviews, sharing knowledge with peers.
• Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies and processes for software development.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 6‑9 years of experience designing, developing and supporting enterprise integrations using MuleSoft and Salesforce.
• Strong communication, time‑management and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in Agile teams and manage multiple tasks with attention to detail.

Required skills

• MuleSoft Anypoint Platform (API design, implementation, orchestration, monitoring, troubleshooting).
• Salesforce development (Apex, Lightning Web Components, Salesforce APIs).
• OpenAPI specifications, Swagger and Scalar for API documentation.
• System architecture, data modeling and scalable integration patterns.
• Source control, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing and code reviews.
• Agile development practices.
• Experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Revenue Cloud/CPQ.
• Use of AI‑enabled tools to improve productivity.
