Software Engineer III, Digital Enablement

About the role

Mastercam seeks a Software Engineer III who will be a pivotal member of the Digital Enablement team, responsible for designing, developing, administering, and optimizing Salesforce solutions that align with business objectives. The role combines technical development, system administration, and strategic solution engineering to enhance our Salesforce platform's functionality and efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test software to resolve defects and implement user stories.
• Continuously work to develop a deep expertise in Mastercam’s critical business processes.
• Monitor system performance, conduct regular audits, and implement necessary updates to maintain optimal functionality.
• Proactively coordinate with other engineers to decide how best to implement requested changes.
• Conduct code and/or technical reviews, sharing experiences and knowledge with others as appropriate.
• Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies, and processes for software development.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 6 – 9 years of experience developing on the Salesforce platform.
• Proficiency in declarative development such as fields, objects, flows, and permissions.
• Experience with standard software development practices such as source control, peer reviews, and unit testing.
• Experience with agile software development.
• Experience with Sales Cloud and Service Cloud (Revenue Cloud a plus).
• Experience leveraging AI‑enabled tools or automation to improve productivity and operational effectiveness.
