About the role
JPMorgan Chase is looking for a Software Engineer II to join its Consumer & Community Banking agile team. You will help design, develop, and maintain secure, stable, and scalable software components that power the firm’s technology products.
Key responsibilities
- Write secure, high‑quality Java code using Spring Boot and micro‑service architecture.
- Leverage enterprise‑authorized AI coding assistance tools for code generation, refactoring, unit‑test creation, and documentation.
- Design, develop, and troubleshoot components while considering upstream and downstream system impacts.
- Apply SDLC tools, including AI‑assisted automation, to improve development efficiency.
- Analyze large data sets to identify problems and support decision‑making for stable application development.
- Follow agile practices such as CI/CD and continuous testing.
Required profile
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts.
- At least 2 years of hands‑on experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
- Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment.
- Familiarity with responsible AI use, data sensitivity, and secure handling of inputs/outputs.
