Software Engineer II, Digital Enablement

About the role

Mastercam seeks a Software Engineer II who is a pivotal member of the Digital Enablement team, responsible for designing, developing, administering, and optimizing Salesforce solutions that align with business objectives. The role combines technical development, system administration, and strategic solution engineering to enhance the Salesforce platform's functionality and efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test software to resolve defects and implement user stories.
• Monitor system performance, conduct regular audits, and implement updates to maintain optimal functionality.
• Coordinate with other engineers to decide the best implementation approach for requested changes.
• Conduct code and technical reviews, sharing knowledge with the team.
• Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies, and processes for software development.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 4–5 years of experience developing on the Salesforce platform.
• Proficiency in declarative development (fields, objects, flows, permissions).
• Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and Salesforce APIs.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce security, data modeling, and best practices.
• Experience with standard software development practices such as source control, peer reviews, and unit testing.
• Experience with agile software development.
• Experience with Sales Cloud and Service Cloud (Revenue Cloud a plus).
