Software Engineer I – Front End Development (Node/React)

About the role

Deloitte Digital is looking for a Software Engineer I to join its Front End Development team. You will work on creating responsive, component‑based web applications that power client experiences across a range of industries.

Key responsibilities

• Translate wireframes, mockups and requirements into clean, maintainable code.
• Develop rich GUI websites that are responsive and work seamlessly across devices.
• Build and scaffold web applications using modern component frameworks such as React, Angular, Ember or Vue.
• Write unit and end‑to‑end tests following test‑driven development practices.
• Design and implement server‑side APIs in a language of choice.
• Collaborate on application architecture, database design and cloud deployment.

Required profile

• Experience with component‑based front‑end frameworks (React, Angular, Ember, Vue).
• Familiarity with templating engines and web‑app scaffolding tools.
• Understanding of test‑driven development and ability to write unit/E2E tests.
• Knowledge of Node.js ecosystem and ability to develop server‑side APIs.
• Basic knowledge of both NoSQL and relational databases.
• Awareness of cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Enthusiasm for staying up‑to‑date with emerging technologies.
