Software Engineer (Front End)

About the role

Newfold Digital is seeking a Front End Engineer to join its Software Engineering team. You will work alongside developers, operations engineers, and product managers to build reliable, high‑performance web applications that support millions of customers worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the team to design, develop, maintain, and enhance high‑quality software products.
• Build scalable, enterprise‑class front‑end solutions using modern frameworks.
• Resolve complex technical issues and mentor junior engineers.
• Write clean, testable, and maintainable code following best practices.
• Participate in agile SDLC processes and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Contribute to project discovery and optimization of software for enterprise‑scale needs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or MCA degree (or equivalent).
• 2‑4 years of experience developing web‑based applications at scale.
• Familiarity with client‑side scripting frameworks such as React.js, Angular, or Vue.
• Understanding of RESTful application development and an AI‑first development mindset.
• Experience with HTML, JavaScript, CSS, command‑line tools, and Git.
• Experience with Agile Scrum methodologies.
• Knowledge of Docker containers and cloud orchestration (Kubernetes/OKD) is a plus.
• Exposure to Node.js, Python, or PHP is a plus.
