Software Engineer – Ecommerce SFCC

About the role

Chalhoub Group is looking for a Software Engineer to design, build and customise enterprise ecommerce solutions on Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC). You will work on both backend and frontend components, delivering high‑quality code in a fast‑moving, innovative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Engineer, build and customise backend and frontend code for SFCC using SFRA, ISML, cartridges, Page Designer and Business Manager.
• Develop full‑stack functionality with JavaScript, Node.js and REST/GraphQL APIs across the ecommerce space.
• Contribute to code quality through unit and functional testing, code reviews and technical troubleshooting.
• Support deployment, production issue resolution and release reliability across CI/CD pipelines.
• Leverage Claude Code for AI‑assisted development to accelerate code generation and review.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on software development building enterprise ecommerce solutions.
• SFCC Developer Certificate required.
• Hands‑on experience with Pod migrations and other maintenance activities in SFCC.
• Familiarity with Claude Code for AI‑assisted development.
• Awareness of DevOps practices including continuous integration, delivery and release management.

• SFCC (Demandware) with SFRA, ISML, cartridges, Page Designer and Business Manager administration.
• JavaScript, Node.js, JQuery, HTML5 and CSS3.
• REST and GraphQL API development.
• Unit and functional testing, CI/CD pipelines.
• Pipelines, JS Controllers, Demandware Script.
