Software Engineer – AI-driven Cybersecurity

About the role

Seceon is seeking a Software Engineer to help build the next generation of AI‑driven cybersecurity solutions. You will design, develop, test and maintain backend applications that power real‑time threat detection and automated response.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high‑performance backend services and APIs for cybersecurity products.
• Write clean, efficient, and secure code in languages such as Java, Python, Go or C++.
• Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, DevOps engineers and fellow developers to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, troubleshoot issues, and optimise system performance.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes and adopt best practices for secure coding.

Required profile

• Strong foundation in computer‑science fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, operating systems).
• Experience in backend web development, RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote, collaborative environment.
• Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills.

Required skills
