Software Development Engineer – C#/.NET (Hyderabad)

About the role

AVEVA is looking for a self‑driven Software Development Engineer to join its R&D team in Hyderabad. You will work on Windows‑based applications that power industrial automation solutions, collaborating in a fast‑paced, hybrid environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test Microsoft Windows software using C#.NET, and SQL.
• Apply Test‑Driven Development (TDD) and Continuous Integration (CI) practices to ensure high‑quality releases.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
• Leverage AI‑assisted tools such as GitHub Copilot and ChatGPT to accelerate coding and improve quality.
• Build strong relationships with cross‑functional teams while keeping customer needs at the forefront.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of hands‑on experience developing Windows applications with C# and .NET.
• Proven ability to work in an Agile, TDD‑oriented environment.
• Strong analytical mindset and a continuous‑improvement attitude.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
