Software Developer (Ruby + Python)

About the role

Planfirma Technologies is seeking a proactive Software Developer with strong expertise in Ruby on Rails and Python to join its Mumbai office. The role is full‑time, on‑site and requires 2.5–4 years of professional experience building scalable web applications.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and maintain high‑quality web applications using Ruby on Rails and Python frameworks.
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs with dynamic JavaScript front‑ends.
• Collaborate on application architecture, performance optimisation and security best practices.
• Participate in CI/CD pipelines, deployment processes and basic cloud infrastructure setup.
• Mentor junior developers and coordinate with cross‑functional teams.

Required profile

• 2.5–4 years of commercial experience in software development (no freshers).
• B.E. / B.Tech in Computer Science or IT (preferred).
• Immediate joiners preferred, with a maximum notice period of 30 days.
• Willingness to work 100 % on‑site in Mumbai.
