Software Developer – PL/SQL (Full‑time)

About the role

A great opportunity to join Avaloq’s Core Platform Division as a Software Engineer in the Payment & Custody domain, contributing to the development of a streamlined core banking solution.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with the Product Owner, Business Analysts and other Software Engineers.
• Design, develop and maintain robust solutions within the team’s scope.
• Improve and optimise existing functionalities.
• Develop and maintain automated tests.
• Take ownership of your area of expertise.

Required profile

• University degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• 3‑5 years of relevant software development experience.
• Hands‑on experience with relational databases such as Oracle PL/SQL, PostgreSQL and MySQL.
• Good understanding of object data modelling.
• Eagerness to learn business needs and deliver clean, high‑quality code.
• Strong analytical mindset with an autonomous approach to complex technical and business challenges.
• Fluency in English.
