Software Developer - Interfacing

About the role

As a Software Developer – Interfacing you will design and maintain the integration layer that connects the DXC GraphTalk core insurance platform with a variety of internal and external systems. You will work on a major transformation project for a leading Belgian insurer, ensuring seamless data exchange across the ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain interfaces between DXC GraphTalk and external applications.
• Build and support REST and SOAP web services and related API components.
• Implement system‑to‑system communication using enterprise integration patterns.
• Develop data transformation processes and manage XML payloads.
• Utilise middleware and messaging technologies (e.g., Kafka, MQ) to enable scalable integrations.
• Collaborate with analysts, architects, and development teams to define integration requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve connectivity, interface, and data flow issues.
• Participate in testing, deployment, and production support activities.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of software development experience with a focus on system integration.
• Hands‑on experience with DXC GraphTalk or similar insurance platforms.
• Proven experience developing and consuming REST and SOAP services.
• Familiarity with XML, data transformation, and middleware technologies.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.
