Software Developer – Data Engineering (Python, AWS, Databricks)

About the role

Arctic Wolf is seeking a Software Developer to join its Data Engineering team. You will help build and operate large-scale data pipelines that ingest, transform, and serve security event data for the company’s cybersecurity platform. The role offers the chance to work with cutting-edge big-data technologies in a fast-growing security company.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain distributed ETL/ELT pipelines for both batch and streaming workloads using Databricks, Spark, and related technologies.
• Implement event-driven data flows with Kafka, Kinesis, SQS/SNS and integrate them into downstream services.
• Deploy and manage infrastructure as code with Terraform and Terragrunt, and automate pipelines through Jenkins CI/CD.
• Optimize data storage and query performance in AWS services such as S3, RDS, and PostgreSQL, as well as Iceberg/Trino tables.
• Collaborate with product managers, security researchers, and machine-learning teams to understand data requirements and ensure high data quality and availability.

Required profile

• 2 years or less of professional experience as a software developer or data engineer.
• Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to learn complex systems quickly.
• Self-driven attitude with a collaborative approach to working across multiple teams.
