PwC is seeking a Software Asset Management Manager to lead the advisory practice in Gurgaon. The role focuses on developing and executing a long‑term software asset strategy, ensuring compliance, and delivering cost‑saving opportunities for clients.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive software management strategy and goals.
• Create procedures for tracking software assets throughout their lifecycle.
• Monitor software licenses to ensure compliance with agreements and usage standards.
• Integrate software asset tracking with budgeting and procurement processes.
• Collaborate with department heads to identify cost‑saving, compliance, and service‑improvement opportunities.
• Maintain audit readiness and ensure compliance with internal and external audit requirements.

Required profile

• Proven experience in software asset management or related risk management functions.
• Strong understanding of software licensing models and compliance requirements.
• Experience working with budgeting, procurement, and audit processes.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to lead transformation initiatives and drive continuous improvement.
