Social Media Manager – Genz App

About the role

Pinkvilla, a leading entertainment and lifestyle media brand, is looking for a Social Media Manager to grow the Pinkvilla Next app’s social presence. You will drive organic reach, engagement and app installs through trend‑first storytelling, creator collaborations and community‑led distribution across key platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Own the organic growth strategy for Instagram Reels & Stories, YouTube Shorts, Twitter/X and LinkedIn.
• Build and maintain a weekly/monthly content calendar aligned with app categories, trending formats, seasonal moments and product launches.
• Create short‑form video content with strong hooks, high retention and shareability, working with editors and creative producers.
• Engage actively with the audience through comments, DMs, polls, quizzes and Q&As, monitoring sentiment and trends.
• Collaborate with creators to produce high‑performing content, coordinate takeovers, challenges and meme adaptations.
• Track performance metrics such as reach, impressions, engagement, saves, follower growth and video watch time, and share actionable weekly reports.

Required profile

• 3–7 years of experience in social media management, preferably in media or entertainment.
• Proven ability to drive organic reach, engagement and app installations.
• Strong understanding of short‑form video trends and community‑first storytelling.
