SMS Account Manager – Remote

About the role

We are looking for an A2P SMS Account Manager to join our growing SMS sales team. The role involves managing end‑to‑end international SMS carrier accounts, building relationships with new and existing customers, and helping them succeed with our messaging platform.

Key responsibilities

• Identify customer needs and provide solutions to drive success with our SMS product.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients, including on‑site visits to uncover growth opportunities.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with support, technical and other internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and delivery.
• Track and report on account health, performance metrics and revenue growth.
• Generate new business through outreach, networking and handling inbound inquiries.
• Identify upsell opportunities and work to meet or exceed revenue targets.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in SMS sales, telecom or digital messaging.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
• Strong communication and client‑facing skills.
• Willingness and ability to travel as needed.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced, target‑driven environment.

Required skills

• Understanding of SMS routing, short codes, long codes and A2P messaging.
• Experience with SMS platforms such as Twilio, Sinch, Infobip or similar.
• Familiarity with TCPA, CTIA and carrier compliance (a plus).
