SLP Expert, Investigation & Loss Prevention

About the role

Amazon is seeking a proactive Security and Loss Prevention (SLP) Expert to protect its operational sites and ensure continuity across the end‑to‑end supply chain. In this role you will lead site‑level security improvements, conduct investigations, and partner with internal and external stakeholders to mitigate loss and safeguard people.

Key responsibilities

• Drive and implement security enhancements and process‑optimization initiatives at assigned sites.
• Support business resilience by contributing to emergency and crisis planning.
• Identify vulnerabilities (loss, associate experience, process gaps) and define mitigating actions while complying with legal, ethical, and Amazon security standards.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for risk management with local management, law‑enforcement agencies, and industry associations.
• Own and deliver Security and Loss Prevention projects at local, regional, and country levels.
• Perform regular physical security audits, investigate policy violations, incidents, and loss events.
• Collect and analyse data from monitoring systems, tools, and interviews to uncover trends.
• Maintain physical security infrastructure, coordinate with external suppliers, and contribute to budget planning.
• Deliver loss‑prevention education and awareness programs across all management levels.

Required profile

• Proactive, solution‑driven professional with strong analytical abilities.
• Experience in security, loss prevention, or related investigations.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with internal teams and external partners.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
