Skateboarding Coach

About the role

WeSkate Co is looking for a passionate Skateboarding Coach to join our team in Trivandrum. This full‑time, on‑site role involves leading both individual and group skate sessions, helping learners progress safely from beginner to advanced levels.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct individual and group skateboarding lessons, demonstrating techniques and tricks.
• Teach fundamental skills and park riding, ensuring learners follow safety protocols.
• Plan, structure, and adapt training sessions to suit varied skill levels.
• Monitor and record learner progress, providing feedback and personalized guidance.
• Maintain a safe, supportive environment and manage risk in the skate park.

Required profile

• Strong skateboarding ability, capable of performing and teaching basic to advanced tricks.
• Experience in coaching, teaching, or mentoring skaters of different ages.
• Good knowledge of skateboarding safety practices and protective gear usage.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to engage learners from diverse backgrounds.
• Comfortable working outdoors in a physically demanding setting.
• Competitive skateboarding experience or participation in skate events is a plus.
• Basic first‑aid knowledge and willingness to follow safety and safeguarding guidelines.
