About the role
The Site Security Manager (SSM) leads the 24/7 physical security operations for a critical data‑center facility in Pune. Reporting to the Campus Security Manager, the SSM builds a high‑performing team that ensures a safe, secure and compliant environment while meeting client expectations.
Key responsibilities
- Manage day‑to‑day security personnel, including administrative officers, responders, and control‑room staff.
- Partner with local leadership on recruiting, hiring, onboarding, training and employee development.
- Monitor compliance with security policies, procedures and standard operating guidelines.
- Oversee access‑control, CCTV, incident‑management and SOC systems, ensuring proper maintenance and monitoring.
- Maintain documentation, logs, reports and support audits, inspections and other compliance activities.
- Identify security gaps, drive corrective actions and continuous improvement.
- Communicate professionally with clients and internal partners, leading meetings and presentations.
Required profile
- Proven experience leading a security operations team in a 24/7 environment.
- Strong leadership, coaching and performance‑management skills.
- Ability to work closely with client leadership across multiple business groups.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
