Site Management Controller

About the role

The Site Management Controller supports the finance team by overseeing monthly closing activities, analysing results and ensuring accurate reporting across the site. The role works closely with management to explain variances, monitor key performance indicators and drive continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in, understand and challenge the monthly closing process.
• Provide variance analysis versus budget and prior month for all P&L and activity lines.
• Consolidate weekly financial performance reports and KPI dashboards (overdues, internal control).
• Coordinate “Back on Track” actions and contribute to budget and medium‑term planning processes.
• Benchmark and standardise management‑control tools; deliver ad‑hoc analyses as required.
• Propose solutions for inter‑site and product‑line disputes such as transfer pricing and R&D recharges.
• Conduct on‑site management‑control reviews and pre‑validate IAR and CAA workflows.
• Ensure deployment of standard tools from Group/Division/PG/PL within the region.
• Support the Group Ethics & Compliance programme by applying Valeo’s code of ethics and policies.

Required profile

• Proven experience in monthly closing, financial variance analysis and budgeting.
• Strong understanding of P&L statements, KPI monitoring and management‑control processes.
• Ability to work with cross‑functional teams to resolve financial disputes.
• Attention to detail and commitment to compliance and ethical standards.
