Site Incharge – STATCOM Project

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Site Incharge to lead the on‑site construction of the STATCOM project at Krishnagir, Tamil Nadu. The role involves overseeing all civil, electrical, mechanical and control activities, ensuring safety, quality and timely delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day construction activities, coordinating civil, electrical, mechanical, control & protection and commissioning teams.
• Ensure work follows approved drawings, technical specifications, project schedules and contractual requirements.
• Monitor site progress, resource utilization and productivity, and report status to the Project Manager.
• Supervise contractors, subcontractors and site personnel, enforcing quality and HSE standards.
• Coordinate with client, vendors and local authorities for permits, inspections and statutory compliance.
• Arrange timely availability of manpower, materials, equipment and tools.
• Support testing, commissioning and hand‑over by closing punch‑list items and maintaining as‑built records.
• Conduct daily site review meetings and resolve execution issues with engineering support.

Required profile

• 15‑20 years of experience in on‑site construction management, preferably in power or industrial projects.
• BE/B.Tech in Civil or Electrical Engineering (or relevant diploma) with a strong technical background.
• Proven ability to lead multi‑disciplinary teams and manage large‑scale projects.
• Excellent knowledge of statutory regulations, permits and environmental guidelines.
