Site Fire Fighting & PHE Engineer / Supervisor

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Engineer/Supervisor to lead Fire Fighting and Public Health Engineering (PHE) activities on construction sites. The role involves managing day‑to‑day site execution, coordinating with contractors and other MEP disciplines, and ensuring that all works comply with approved drawings, specifications and project schedules.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and execute fire fighting systems such as hydrants, sprinklers, hose reels, fire pump rooms, wet risers and fire tanks.
• Carry out PHE works including water supply, drainage, sanitary, rainwater and related plumbing installations.
• Read and interpret MEP/shop drawings, schematics and BOQs, and coordinate with consultants, clients and subcontractors.
• Monitor installation of pipes, valves, pumps and fittings, and ensure compliance with standards and safety requirements.
• Conduct hydro‑testing, pressure testing, flushing, inspection and commissioning of fire fighting and PHE systems.
• Prepare daily progress reports, material requisitions and site documentation, and manage manpower and material availability.

Required profile

• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Civil or related engineering discipline.
• 3–8 years of hands‑on experience in fire fighting and PHE site execution.
• Proven ability to read AutoCAD drawings and MEP layouts.
• Experience in testing, commissioning and troubleshooting fire fighting/PHE systems.
• Strong coordination skills with contractors, subcontractors and multidisciplinary teams.
