Site Construction Manager I

About the role

Worley is seeking a Manager I, Site Construction to lead the Construction Management team on complex oil & gas or chemicals projects. You will be responsible for delivering the construction phase safely, on time, and within budget while supporting the professional growth of your team.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Construction Management team and represent Worley in stakeholder meetings.
• Direct and control staff activities to meet project requirements and HSE plans.
• Implement construction management processes, ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
• Review contractor programmes, schedules, manpower and equipment usage.
• Advise contractors on work methods and ensure timely submission of HSE, quality and progress reports.
• Own the construction phase budget, monitor expenditures and take corrective actions.
• Manage interfaces between multiple contractors and vendors.
• Foster an inclusive environment, mentor employees and support their career development.

Required profile

• Graduate Engineer (Civil, Mechanical or Electrical) with at least 25 years of experience.
• Proven track record as a Construction Manager on a completed oil & gas or chemicals project.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, HSE compliance and quality management in the Oil & Gas / Chemicals sector.
