Showroom Salesperson (Hybrid)

About the role

Skywood Furniture is looking for a dynamic Showroom Salesperson to join its Nagpur team. The position is full‑time and hybrid, combining on‑site customer interaction with remote follow‑up tasks. You will be the first point of contact for visitors, helping them find the right furniture solutions while supporting the sales process from quotation to delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers in the showroom, understand their furniture needs and recommend appropriate products.
• Explain product features, pricing and prepare accurate quotations.
• Process orders and coordinate with warehouse and delivery teams to ensure timely fulfillment.
• Maintain product displays and ensure the showroom remains presentable.
• Follow up with prospects and existing customers via phone, email or messaging apps.
• Update sales records and manage basic online or phone inquiries.
• Collaborate with the sales and management team to achieve individual and showroom sales targets.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation with good listening and relationship‑building abilities.
• Effective communication in English and local languages, both verbal and written.
• Basic knowledge of consultative selling, negotiation and closing techniques in a retail environment.
• Ability to work in a hybrid setup, attending the showroom regularly while handling documentation from home.
• High school diploma required; a graduate degree in business, marketing or related field is preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency with POS systems.
• Competence in using spreadsheets.
• Familiarity with messaging apps for customer communication.
• Experience with basic online catalogs.
