Shopify Developer – D2C E‑commerce Specialist

About the role

Techdock Labs is seeking a skilled Shopify Developer to build and optimise high‑performing D2C e‑commerce stores. You will work with premium brands in jewellery, fashion, electronics and lifestyle, focusing on conversion, speed and user experience.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, customise and maintain Shopify stores using Liquid, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+) and Shopify APIs.
• Create responsive, mobile‑first storefronts and custom sections, templates and app integrations.
• Optimise performance, Core Web Vitals and page‑speed, and implement SEO best practices.
• Drive conversion‑rate optimisation through A/B testing, CRO tools and high‑converting PDP, collection, cart and checkout designs.
• Integrate third‑party services such as payment gateways (Razorpay, PayU, Stripe, Cashfree), shipping (Shiprocket, Delhivery, GoKwik), loyalty, reviews, analytics and marketing platforms.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, marketers and performance teams to launch campaigns quickly.
• Maintain code quality with Git, follow Shopify 2.0 architecture and ensure cross‑browser compatibility.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 + years of hands‑on Shopify development experience.
• Strong understanding of e‑commerce conversion, CRO, SEO and site performance.
• Ability to work onsite in Lucknow and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.

• Shopify Theme Customisation, Shopify 2.0, Shopify APIs, App Integrations.
• Shopify CLI, Git version control.
• Payment gateway integrations: Razorpay, PayU, Cashfree, Stripe.
• Shipping integrations: Shiprocket, Delhivery, GoKwik.
• Marketing & analytics tools: Klaviyo, Judge.me, Loox, Facebook Pixel, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager.
• SEO, schema markup, technical SEO, page‑speed optimisation.
• CRO tools: Microsoft Clarity, Hotjar, Lucky Orange.
• Optional: headless commerce experience.
