Shift Incharge

About the role

The Shift Incharge is a full‑time, on‑site position based in Guwahati, responsible for supervising daily construction activities during assigned shifts. You will work closely with site workers, engineers and contractors to ensure that work is executed safely, on schedule and to the required quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise on‑site teams and manage shift schedules.
• Coordinate daily construction tasks with engineers, contractors and subcontractors.
• Monitor material usage, maintain work logs and daily progress reports.
• Verify that work is completed according to project plans, safety guidelines and quality standards.
• Identify and resolve minor on‑site issues promptly.
• Report progress, challenges and safety incidents to site management.

Required profile

• Relevant experience in construction or real‑estate project sites, preferably in a supervisory or shift‑in‑charge role.
• Ability to lead on‑site teams and make quick, practical decisions.
• Strong organizational and documentation abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for interaction with workers, contractors and management.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Guwahati and adapt to project‑based working hours.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of construction processes, safety standards and quality‑control practices.
