ServiceNow Service Portal Developer

About the role

We are looking for a specialized ServiceNow Service Portal Developer to lead the UI/UX transformation of our platform. You will focus on building modern, high‑performance Service Portals, Employee Centers, and custom UI components for Bosch's global software solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain reusable Service Portal widgets from scratch.
• Convert wireframes and Figma designs into responsive, pixel‑perfect portal pages using Bootstrap and CSS/SASS.
• Manage portal configurations, including search sources, themes, menus, headers, footers, and CSS inclusions.
• Write client controllers (AngularJS), server scripts (JavaScript/GlideRecord), and link functions for full‑stack portal development.
• Implement advanced features such as real‑time data updates, dynamic forms, and asynchronous loading via GlideAjax.
• Ensure mobile responsiveness and cross‑browser compatibility of all portal pages and widgets.
• Troubleshoot performance issues, optimize load times, and resolve rendering bottlenecks.

Required profile

• 4–8 years of experience in ServiceNow portal development.
• Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (e.g., BE, ME, B.Tech, M.Tech, BCA, MCA, B.Sc, MSc).
• Strong understanding of ServiceNow architecture and portal framework.
