ServiceNow Consultant – CMDB & Platform Specialist

About the role

Vantive is seeking a ServiceNow Consultant to mature and scale its ServiceNow platform during a spin‑off program and ongoing operations. The role will initially focus on strengthening the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and later expand across the full suite of ServiceNow capabilities to drive operational excellence and business value.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the maturation of CMDB data quality, class and relationship modeling, lifecycle governance, reconciliation, normalization, and alignment to the Common Service Data Model (CSDM).
• Partner with infrastructure, application, security and operations teams to improve discovery, service mapping, integrations and dependency data supporting incident, change, asset, risk and operational processes.
• Design, configure, test and enhance ServiceNow solutions that improve service quality, security, compliance, speed and efficiency.
• Contribute to the ServiceNow platform roadmap by identifying opportunities for better governance, automation, usability and ROI.
• Develop and mature development, testing, release, documentation and support practices, ensuring clear handoffs to operational teams.
• Coordinate third‑party solution providers, defining deliverables, aligning with Vantive standards and ensuring quality and accountability.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, MIS, business or related field.
• 7+ years of experience administering, configuring or implementing ServiceNow platforms.
• Proven experience with ServiceNow CMDB, CSDM, Discovery, Service Mapping and ITOM capabilities.
• Experience delivering solutions in a highly regulated, global environment and collaborating with cross‑functional teams.
• Strong analytical, technical and communication skills with the ability to explain complex topics to non‑technical stakeholders.
