Service Management Solution Architect

About the role

The Service Management Solution Architect leads the technical execution of enterprise post‑sales Service Management and Resource Scheduling platforms, enhancing the digital customer experience for Applied Materials.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute IT programs for service execution aligned with business growth and digital transformation goals.
• Lead cross‑functional teams across IT, product, UX and business operations to deliver capabilities across the equipment lifecycle.
• Drive platform modernization and integration with ERP (e.g., SAP S/4HANA), CRM and billing systems.
• Serve as subject‑matter expert overseeing build, test and deployment of complex business application solutions.

Required profile

• 10‑12 years of IT experience, with at least 10 years in Service Management, resource scheduling and parts logistics.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field.
• Strong communication, leadership and stakeholder‑engagement skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.

Required skills

• SAP S/4HANA, SAP ERP, SAP Field Service Management (FSM), SAP CRM, SAP Service and Asset Manager (SSAM), SAP Sales/Service Cloud V2.
• Fiori applications and SAP CRM WebUI configuration.
• Integration knowledge with SAP SD, FI and related modules.
• CRM middleware operations, BDoc monitoring, replication and issue resolution.
