SEO Trainee – Hands‑on Digital Marketing Experience

About the role

Leapswitch Networks is seeking a motivated SEO Trainee to join its marketing team in Pune. This six‑month probationary role offers fresh graduates hands‑on experience in search engine optimization, website performance, and digital growth strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with keyword research and identify ranking opportunities.
• Support on‑page SEO tasks such as meta tags, headings, internal linking, and content optimization.
• Participate in website audits, improve site speed, mobile responsiveness, and Core Web Vitals.
• Help with WordPress updates, basic HTML/CSS edits, and minor content changes.
• Contribute to backlink‑building activities, directory submissions, and guest‑post research.
• Monitor traffic and keyword performance using Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, and Google Analytics.
• Prepare regular SEO performance reports and study competitor strategies.

Required profile

• Fresh graduate (Bachelors or Masters) with a digital marketing certification.
• Basic understanding of SEO concepts and willingness to learn.
• Familiarity with WordPress or website management is a plus.
• Analytical mindset, good communication, and teamwork skills.
