SEO Specialist – AEO/GEO & WordPress

About the role

The SEO Specialist (AEO/GEO) will own the organic visibility and technical health of our WordPress website. Working closely with the Content Strategist, you will optimise copy, manage site quality assurance and experiment with emerging AI‑driven search formats.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct technical and on‑page SEO: keyword research, site audits, schema implementation, Core Web Vitals monitoring and Search Console management.
• Maintain WordPress site hygiene: perform updates, run QA before publishing, and resolve errors within 48 hours.
• Guide the Content Strategist on keyword targeting and content structure.
• Track and report monthly organic performance (traffic, rankings, indexation).
• Experiment with and document AEO/GEO practices, including how AI‑generated answers surface in search.

Required profile

• Proven technical SEO experience with hands‑on audits, keyword clustering and on‑page fixes.
• Strong working knowledge of WordPress, including content structure, plugins and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with an SEO/keyword tool such as Ahrefs, SEMrush or Ubersuggest, and Google Search Console.
• Excellent written English for reviewing and briefing content.
• Genuine curiosity about AI search tools and their impact on discovery.
