SEO Executive

About the role

We are looking for an SEO Executive to lead and execute search‑engine optimisation strategies across multiple client websites. The role combines keyword research, technical audits, content optimisation and emerging AI‑driven search techniques to boost organic visibility.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct keyword, competitor and search‑intent research to identify optimisation opportunities.
• Develop and implement SEO strategies for client sites, covering on‑page, off‑page and technical aspects.
• Optimise page titles, meta descriptions, headings, internal linking and content structure.
• Perform technical SEO audits, recommend improvements, and work with developers on schema markup, structured data and site architecture.
• Manage local SEO efforts, including Google Business Profiles, citations and location‑specific pages.
• Explore and apply Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO) and AI‑driven search tactics.
• Plan and execute link‑building campaigns, monitor backlink profiles and identify new opportunities.
• Track keyword rankings, organic traffic and overall SEO performance using Google Search Console, Google Analytics and other tools.
• Prepare regular performance reports for clients and internal teams.
• Collaborate with content and development teams to ensure SEO‑focused implementation.

• Strong analytical mindset with a willingness to stay updated on AI‑driven search trends.
• Proactive attitude toward learning new SEO tools and techniques.

Required skills

• On‑page, off‑page and technical SEO expertise.
• Local SEO knowledge, including Google Business Profiles.
• Keyword research and competitor analysis.
• Experience with Google Search Console and Google Analytics.
• Proficiency with SEO tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, or similar.
• Basic HTML knowledge and understanding of website structure.
• Familiarity with schema markup and structured data (advantageous).
• Understanding of Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO) and AI‑SEO concepts.
