Senior Windows L3 Systems Engineer – Terraform & Cloud Automation

About the role

Ensono is seeking a senior Windows L3 Systems Engineer to lead advanced administration, automation, and support of enterprise Windows Server environments across on‑premises and cloud platforms. The role serves as the highest technical escalation point, driving Terraform‑based infrastructure as code and ensuring platform stability.

Key responsibilities

• Provide L3‑level support for Windows Server 2016/2019/2022, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, DFS and Failover Clustering.
• Design, deploy and maintain highly available Windows server infrastructures using Terraform modules for both cloud (Azure, AWS) and on‑premises environments.
• Automate server provisioning, configuration, patching, security remediation and lifecycle management with PowerShell and Terraform.
• Administer virtualization platforms such as VMware and Hyper‑V, and support cloud infrastructure on Azure and AWS.
• Lead major incident management, root‑cause analysis, and problem management activities for mission‑critical production systems.

Required profile

• 8–10+ years of enterprise Windows Server administration experience.
• Hands‑on experience with Terraform, including module development, state management and remote backends.
• Strong PowerShell scripting and automation background.
• Experience with VMware and/or Hyper‑V virtualization platforms.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex server, OS, networking and storage issues in 24x7 environments.
