Senior Urban Planner & Infrastructure Engineer

About the role

As a Senior Urban Planner and Infrastructure Engineer at Assystem, you will contribute to the technical design and delivery of urban and infrastructure projects across India. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to produce drawings, calculations, schematics and technical reports for a variety of civil works.

Key responsibilities

• Support technical design of infrastructure projects, including drainage, earthworks, highways, pressurised water networks and utility coordination.
• Produce and manage drawings, calculations, conceptual and schematic sketches, and technical reports.
• Lead small to medium urban planning projects under supervision of Business Head/Team Lead.
• Coordinate with clients, design teams and multidisciplinary partners throughout the project life‑cycle.
• Prepare bid documentation for EPC, item‑rate and PPP contracts and manage bid processes.

Required profile

• B.E./B.Tech in Civil or Environmental Engineering with a postgraduate degree in Engineering, Urban Planning or Infrastructure Planning.
• Experience in civil infrastructure design review, master‑planning, industrial corridors, DPR and PNMC projects.
• Knowledge of power supply, treatment plants, solid waste management at planning level and infrastructure demand forecasting.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Civil 3D and BIM/CAD/GIS software.
• Ability to perform clash analysis for integrated infrastructure planning.
• Project management and bid process management experience.
• Familiarity with prevailing environmental and CRZ norms.
